The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
Is the Holy Spirit worthy of worship?
If the answer to that question is a resounding “Yes,” it is of the highest importance we properly understand the Holy Spirit as he is revealed in Scripture so that we properly honor and worship him as a Divine Person, worthy to receive our adoration, our faith, our love, and our entire surrender. If the Holy Spirit is a person, and a Divine Person, and we do not know Him as such, then we are robbing a Divine Being of the worship and the faith and the love and the surrender to Himself which are his due.
Here is a masterful treatise on a vitally important topic that every Christian must know intimately in order to properly worship God. R. A. Torrey (1856-1928), former head of Moody Bible Institute, presents a thoroughly biblical and straight-forward book that will give you a new perspective on the person and work of the third Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit.
